Nope; is that from their first album, which was live I think?  Though I've always enjoyed JEFFERSON AIRPLANE's records, I wasn't into them enough to dig up any HOT TUNA... I was always on to the next thing... I appreciate JA much more now; I was frankly, too young for them.     And of course even at that point was mining records from years before.  Though I was enough into PINK FLOYD to pursue solo albums by RICHARD WRIGHT and maybe DAVID GILMORE (?)  I know NICK MASON had a solo effort.

Yes, it's from their first album, which is live.  Believe it or not I like that album better than SURREALISTIC PILLOW!  But I tend towards the acoustic/folk/blues end of the popular music spectrum rather than the rock end.

Psycho Circus

Seriously overrated band, that didn't deserve to "hit it big" as alot of people make out. One album is enough. The vocalist thinks he's Axl Rose and there's not enough hooks to grab the listener or make anything memorable. The fact that "You're So Strange" was the lead single says it all....

Not blasphemy to me; I'm not as fond of Pillow as, say Volunteers or Bless Its Pointed Little Head (JA's live album).

I'm listening to The Essential SLY AND THE FAMILY STONE

Love that record.

What ever happened to Sly? I'm pretty sure the Family Stone still exists.

SLY is around and is the FAMILY STONE.  I don't presume to inquire or understand, but I do love the old records.
