ROXY MUSIC Stranded

How are they?  Never heard of em, but seen them posted here a few times.  I don't know if the major record store here has anything by them, but I have 2 used record shops that have decent selections.  I used the used record shop to find some Frank Zappa and early Elvis recordings.

Roxy Music are great. Check them out on youtube or something Happy. I'm sure with your varied taste, you'll find something you like by the band. My personal favourites are "More Than This", "Love Is The Drug" and "Mother Of Pearl".

Well, you can never go wrong with used CDs, ELVIS or ZAPPA.
ROXY MUSIC is one of my favorite bands, though my own favorites do not match our Circus'.  If you want slickly produced Pop Rock, Siren or Avalon are great (one each of Circus' selections are from those two and "Mother of Pearl" is from Stranded.)  I think their best album is the first (though critics don't agree with me) and their critical and probably fan favorite is their second (For Your Pleasure).  If I were you, I'd look for Siren first or Country Life (my second favorite) and if you like 'em, the eponymous first and their second album (For Your Pleasure).
