This is off that "Jazz on Film Noir" compilation but I've been listening to this score in particular.

Freakin' terrible album...
I like a couple of things on there, "Let's Dance" and "China Girl"... I had it on vinyl... haven't heard it in decades except for those two.  I saw BOWIE's Glass Spider Tour (talk about "freakin' terrible"... the opening act was SQUEEZE who were great) which was probably right around the time Tonight was released (talk about "freakin' terrible").  When BOWIE hit the skids, starting with this album, it was all downhill.

I like those two but my favorite is "Putting Out Fire" (the re-recording of the theme song from the CAT PEOPLE remake). Bowie's albums after this one were pretty terrible with the exception of some singles he made for movies ("Absolute Beginners" and "Underground"). Interesting that three of his top 80s songs were all made as part of film scores.
