Cool! Yeah, I know that CD goes for stooopid $$ on eBay. There are some bootleg versions floating about, I recently got hold of one of those and it even has some tracks from their first demo tacked on as bonuses.

Great band that I totally missed out on back in the day, They didn't come onto my radar till their singer on this album (Joe Comeau) joined Overkill as a guitar player in the mid 90s. He also sang on two albums by Annihilator.

Yeah, always considered "Carnival Diablos" to be Annihilators best album although nobody seems to agree. Comeau was a fantastic fit at the the time for that band. I did think "Waking The Fury" was awful though.

Love Carnival Diablos!! Waking the Fury has its moments but the production is godawful. The guitar sound has this weird "buzz" to it for the whole album.

I agree that Comeau was a great fit for them, too bad he didn't stick around. Haven't really cared for any of the stuff they've released with Dave Padden on vox. It figures, for nearly 20 years that band went thru singers like crap thru a goose but as soon as Waters finds a guy that I can't stand, he's in there for the long haul. :(

You should out the "Live At Masters Of Rock" DVD, Padden is great. Really strong guitar/vocal performance where he nails every song and sounds almost exactly like all Annihilators previous frontmen. I was put off initially by "Metal" (which I hate, but then again, it's got tons of crappy guest musicians on) due to the fact I hadn't heard the stuff Padden had done before and that he had short hair (silly me).
