I've been on a big DOORS kick of late.

I picked up a cheap copy of the Very Best Of The Doors 2-CD compilation while thrift shopping quite a while ago, but for whatever reason never got around to giving it any spins till this week.

Dusted off Motorhead's MARCH OR DIE (1992) this past week for the first time in a while.

Long time fans generally consider this to be one of Motorhead's lesser albums, but aside from the unnecessary cover of Ted Nugent's "Cat Scratch Fever" (?) and the godawful power ballad duet with Ozzy Osbourne ("I Ain't No Nice Guy"), there's some good stuff on here, particularly the track "Hellraiser," which Lemmy originally wrote for Ozzy (it's on Oz's "No More Tears" album), but Motorhead's version is no slouch either. Plus,  it was used as the end credit theme to "HellRaiser III: Hell On Earth," so they made a video for the track where Lemmy beats Pinhead at poker. :D
