Ice Cream Man

I just saw Ice Cream Man last night.  I recorded it on the DVR.  I have to say, "What the F-bomb was the director thinking????

This movie was stinking from the expired ice cream or was that my brain going on overload.

I did like the Jan Micheal Vincent look-a-like(If it was Halloween, he would have won the contest for best costume), I thought that was pretty darn funny.

Clint could not, IMO, act his way out of a bag, and being stopped by one small kid, instead of the Don Johnson, Jan Micheal Vincent wannabees???  Really.

But I will say that I would probally watch it again, I am not sure why, but I feel drawn to self psychologically hurt myself.  Maybe I should seek help, maybe I should go on MTV's True Life, "I am a bad movie watcher and can't stop."

Just thought I would share my thoughts.

This one was pretty bad but I did like it in a twisted, weird sort of way.

I always seem to remember the ice cream man sleeping in the garden or putting the eyeball on top of the cop's ice cream cone.
Then it shows a close-up of the eyeball in his mouth.

Too funny!

You evidently don't bother reading the credits when you watch a film.  That is Jan Michael Vincent,  the movie also includes  David Warner, Sandahl Bergman, Olivia Hussey, David Naughton, Steve Garvey, Doug Lewellyn (yes, the guy from People's Court), and Lee Majors II (I believe he's the Don Johnson wannabe you mention).

Isn't this one of the films Vincent made after he got chewed up in a bad DUI car accident? And he was probably pretty blitzed when he made the film. He really ruined himself and his career.

Caught this one on Joe Bob's TNT show years ago, I was amazed at the cast of names and semi-names for what was a pretty low-rent film. Still enjoyed it a lot for the stinker it is.

Not only is the one clip of it available on YouTube, if you scroll around, people have what seems like the whole thing on there, albeit chopped up into 5min. segments.  I almost feel like I don't need to rent it, now . . .
You gotta love the carefully placed eyeball goo in the "Rocky Road" cone . . .

In that clip, I noticed that he hollows out the center of the eyeball and puts it on the cone while throwing the retina part back into the bucket.
But when we get the close-up of it in the detective's mouth, it's the retina part.   

And the music that plays when the cop is eating it is hilarious.

I've seen 2 Ice Cream Man flicks in the video stores the last couple of years.

One has Clint Howard as the title character and the other one I guess is the one that you all are talking about.
