FORT ALGIERS (1953) - Yvonne De Carlo  stars as a spy along with Raymond Burr who plays a desert amir in this Legionaire spy film. The only thing this film has going for it is Yvonne De Carlo and some good locations shots. There is also a large scale charge of a oil field by hundreds of Arabs at the end where De Carlo blows them all up. She has a knack for explosives, singing, languages, and horseback riding. They seem to use about three different location shots which include well mixed footage of North Africa, possibly Southern California desert regions for the horse scenes, and Hollywood movie sets for the interiors. All in all I was kinda bored with this one.

Thumbup Thumbdown (5 out of 10 Stars) Strickly for Yvonne De Carlo fans.
