I was expecting more of an early Fangoria type of plotless, poorly acted gorefest.  That's actually very far off the mark.  This is the horror movie Don Rickles never made.  Sure, the main character is a cannibal, but he's also a working class shlub who over the course of 77 minutes does about a thousand one liners.   There are lots of pretty topless girls, most of whom get consumed, and a refrigerator and microwave overflowing with body parts.   It's a tour de force, seemingly improvised a la an HG Lewis/ something weird adventure.

If I had one criticism it's that there are no other developed characters besides the main guy.  We are always following him and it gets a little tedious.  But obviously there wasn't alot of  introspective creativity / editing that went in to this.   recommended.

The Burgomaster

I saw this many years ago on VHS.  I must have watched it 5 or 6 times.  By the way, the star is stand-up comedian Jackie Vernon, who was also the voice of FROSTY THE SNOWMAN in the Rankin/Bass Christmas cartoon.

The film that ruined "Frosty the Snowman" for my wife.  To this day, all she can think of is Frosty saying, "I'm so hungry, I could eat a whore!"  It also has one of the most inspired opening sequences I have ever seen.

Another review that is on the list of reviews to be updated.  I wrote that one a long time ago.
