I need some help getting started with podcasting.

I work part time at a low power radio station, and our noontime hour is dedicated to local news & talk produced by volunteers.

Some of these shows are produced outside of our studios, & delivered on CD.

A frequent problem I tend to encounter, is that some of these "home made" shows tend to be slightly longer than their allotted runtime. I need to start & stop the shows at specific times, meaning that I often have to cut them short, resulting in angry phonecalls from our listeners.

Just convert the CD to mp3 and upload the file to your server for either streaming playback or download.

POD mean "Portable On Demand" and not iPod ... POD predates iPod
