I can't really explain this. When I got on to the forum I didn't see my icon or my profile info. I tried logging out and logging back in but it didn't seem to help. Oddly enough I can post new topics but I can not reply to any postings until this thing is resolved.

I believe I understand what you are saying.  The top box, that displays your avatar, along with the welcome message and "Show unread posts since last visit" and some other options, is missing?  If that is the case, it is caused by the little up/down pointer on the menu bar being clicked.  That is the show/hide toggle for that box.

The little up/down pointer is on the same bar as the "Home" "Help" "Search" etc. options, right at the top center of the forum content.
