Denzel Washington has been in quite a few movies.
And most of them have been very good.

I recently finished Deja Vu and it was a pretty solid thriller.
He was also very good in Man On Fire.

I'd have to say my all time favorite Denzel Washington movie is Training Day.
There's a reason why he won an Oscar for his potrayal of the crooked cop Alonzo.
He gives an intense performance in almost every film he stars in.

How about you?

Remember the Titans.

Just watched it the other night.  Good movie.

Don't get too close, it's dark inside.

My vote is for "Training Day". I like Denzel, but when he plays good guys I used to find him a bit too stale. He seems to do it better with age, though.

Can "American Gangster" be added to the survey? It shouldn't take long to be released, and the trailer is great. Could easily turn out as one of his best roles.
Due to the horrifying nature of this film, no one will be admitted to the theatre.

I'm not a huge fan of Denzel.  If a movie with him is on telly and I don't feel like getting off the couch, then I'll watch it, but I don't go out of my way to seek him out.

I liked the movie where that devil/spirit/entity keeps changing bodies?  Can't think of the name of it now.  That was pretty good.  And I would like to see Deja Vu because the concept seems interesting.  Saw a bit of Training Day and I liked what I saw, but I'll have to rent it again and watch it through to the end.

Most of the other movies from the poll I've either never heard of or haven't seen.

That would be Fallen.

I'm not much of a Denzel fan, but I'd have to go with Crimson Tide. Very entertaining, very quotable thriller, and Gene Hackman is really good in it. Also, a good place to see Viggo Mortensen and James Gandolfini before they hit the big time.
