Think I'll pass on her, thanks.  That is one serious shnozz she's got going there!

I like the nose. Gives her face character. The teeth, however, are just way too horsey for me. In the pictures where I think she looks good, a common factor seems to be that her lips aren't parted too much. With a big smile, she goes from oddly attractive to just odd. Downplay the teeth and get her looking kind of serious, and she can be downright majestic, as in the second photo.

I think that's what I find compelling about de Palma's face. I like unique faces that have that kind of narrow boundary between beautiful and ugly. The features are almost exaggerated, yet just far enough from average to be distinctive but not quite ugly. That can be very beautiful on a woman, although I think Rossy de Palma might go just a little too far. Most of the time, it's kind of strange, but sometimes it's stunning.

Watching Dexter this season, I frequently noted how attractive Julia Stiles is, while having a slightly unusual face. There's a quality there I can't put my finger on.

She looks like a stereotypical cavewoman at times - it's the prominent orbital socket and forehead.  But, at times, she's still pretty attractive.  Perfect candidate for this thread!

Had to get this thread going again. I don't know how many of you have seen the Metamucil "Multitasking" commercial, but the actress, Suzi Barrett is incredible looking. She's going out of her way to be goofy in the commercial, and her face has kind of a strange almost "Peter Billingsley" quality to it, but there is something really compelling there, a hotness I can't quite put my finger on. Maybe it's the cute smile, the big blue eyes. I don't really know.

She's actually in some pretty funny stuff on YouTube.

SNL seems to corner the market on chicks who act goofy but still look cute.

I second the mentions of Jorja Fox, Kathy Najimy, and Katherine Isabelle.

My vote would be for Tina Fey:

She's not a normal beauty but I think she is absolutely gorgeous.  I think it's the glasses and the sort of uneasy smile that I like so much.  Also, she's a huge nerd in real life, so that's a serious bonus.

I couldn't agree more.

After seeing the two Crank movies, I must admit to having a bit of a crush on Amy Smart. *

*Also a man crush on Jason Statham but that's another thread entirely.  :buggedout: :teddyr: :teddyr:

Kristen Wiig

She makes some weird ass faces but there is something, "oddly attractive" I find about her.

I totally agree with you on Kristen Wiig.

Emily Mortimer is a real chameleon.

I've always had a thing for Kathryn Morris. But then, I instantly love any pale blonde I see.
Due to the horrifying nature of this film, no one will be admitted to the theatre.

I was watching an episode of The Drew Carey Show last night and remembered how much I liked Katy Selverstone.

Christina Ricci.

Others may disagree, but I've liked her a long time.

SOME DISAGREE!!!!!!?!? Ever since I saw Casper as a kid, I've done nothing but drool over her. I love After Life and Prozac Nation for one reason and one reason only.

These people you speak of must be into bestiality, because obviously they can't recognize beauty in their own species.

                                                   ELLEN BARKIN....

If it's true what they say, that GOD created us in His image, then why should we not love creating, and why should we not continue to do so, as carefully and ethically as we can, on whatever scale we're capable of?

The choice is simple; refuse to create, and refuse to grow, or build, with care and love.

She's not particularly attractive but I always liked something about Julie Benz's appearance.
