It's an import (not sure if that should be surprising) and it's better than I expected. Both more dignified and more absurd than I was expecting.

Quote: "She was so young, if she hadn't bit off that man's pecker I'd have sworn she still had her baby teeth."

As this is a recommendation thread, let's remember to warn of and minimize spoilers, m'kay?
"Do you have something against droppings?" "Well, no, I..." "Sure, everyone says that till they step in it."

I've only seen the trailer, on some Troma dvd I have.  Might be the Toxic Avenger 21st anniversary disc, but it's on one of their dvd's.

Looked....odd.

A friend saw it and said it's hilarious.  I might see it.
"The path to Heaven runs through miles of clouded Hell."

Don't get too close, it's dark inside.
It's where my demons hide, it's where my demons hide.

Killer Condom is firmly in the 'cult' movie section.  You need to have an open mind, but once you get past the transsexual prostitutes, it'll give you a good french tickle.

Especially since it's a German film...set in New York.

Seriously folks, this one might actually be worth buying.

This is actually another example of a movie based on a comic book. The author, Ralf König, is doing rather big buisness over here in Germany, as far as success goes in German comic artists. He usually publishes much less "strange" books, dealing with everyday life of gays, which started some fuss in the media in his beginnings in the 80s. Fortunately, that is not the case any more, probably because, as he says, the majority of his readers are now heterosexuals (oddly mostly women, who don´t get off too good in his stories usually...).

As in most cases, the comic is much better in my opinion, but I don´t think it has been translated in English ("Bull´s Balls" has though). By the way, the nutty female scientist Dr. Doris Riffleson is Iris Berben, one of the most prominent actresses here. I bet she regrets now having stared in one of "these" movies.

There also has been a sequel comic: "Bis auf die Knochen", meaning something like "...to the bones" as in "stripped to the bones" - no biting condoms, but... aw, let´s say it´s a lot weirder
......"Now toddle off and fly your flying machine."

I had this on VHS but have yet to get it on DVD.  It's pretty funny and gory but you have to willing to have an open mind while watching it as it's pretty strange.

Danka + karma. All hail the unknown genius in comics.

Thanks HarlotBug!

Here is a example of the comic - unfortunately in German: http://www.ralf-koenig.de/comic.php?u=6&detail=2&info=kondom-des-grauens

They even made a puppet theater from it (see below)

Nothing unfortunate about it...save the lack of circumcison.  :tongueout:
It's always refreshing to see gay characters who don't fit the mold.
