Any movies that you never suspected would deserve to be added to the list here?

I for one never expected the Home Alone franchise to end up deserving to be here. Don't get me wrong-- Home Alone and Home Alone 2 don't deserve to be listed here----and as much as I disliked Home Alone 3--it also was good enough to not deserve to be here.

Home Alone 4: Taking Back The House--however, That one DOES deserve to be listed here--bad enough that it's a boring tv movie sequel to some hilarious theatrical flicks--but also, whoever wrote this crap either, never saw the other three or simply wanted to ruined the whole idea.

The kid is supposed to be Kevin McCallister but looks like the little punk from the third movie, This movie takes place at the same time Kevin was in New York, Marv--the tall dumb moron from the first two movies has been combined with the character who was his smarter partner Harry and is now one guy, Half of Kevin's family has vanished, Buzz has reverted to twelve years old, Kevin's parents have divorced, the house looks completely different, Marv is played by everyone's "favorite actor" French Stewart- And most ironic of all?

The kid is never alone.---he doesn't even fight the baddies off very well--instead of the violent slapstick traps we all remember and love, we get elevators that get stuck for the "trap"

Pretty sad when Home Alone ends up deserving to be listed as a horrendous dud.

Actually, if you want to push the issue, I doubt that Home Alone 4 is the type of movie that this site was created for, regardless of how good or bad it is.

Alien Resurrection.  I never dreamed that that franchise could spawn such a horrible sequel.  It actually is a B-movie in all ways except for budget.  Same with AVP - it's a Sci-Fi Channel Original with pricey special effects.  I admire film makers who can take a tiny budget but make something very entertaining.  To see other film makers with a giant budget fail to produce the same results is pathetic.
The world is changed by your example, not by your opinion.

Why?

There's a huge difference between a true B movie and some piece of crap like Home Alone 4.

Oh yeah---as if ID4 or any of those Aliens movies were b-movies.......

I think the point that is being made is that it takes more than a hack script and burned out franchise to be considered a B-Movie. A B-Movie has a definite aura to it. They're bad, yet enjoyable, because they're bad. A movie that has no entertainment value is simple a waste of film. Formulaic Hollywood chaff shouldn't be enshrined here.

A great BAD movie is like watching a car accident...it's horrifying...yet your compelled to stare. Junk like HOME ALONE 4 is unwatchable boring drek.
Supernatural?...perhaps. Baloney?...Perhaps not!" Bela Lugosi-the BLACK CAT (1934)

Lugosi-"No. Dracula-never ends."

Oh I dunno--It could be argued IMHO that Home Alone 4 fits right in here at this site. After all, the idea that someone could get so much that is so simple, so ......wrong is pretty funny. The idea that they thought a robotic house would work is pretty funny, the idea that they thought that there might be a person--who actually finds French Stewart hilarious--in existence is a riot......etc.

Don't get me wrong....Home Alone 4 is horribly bad.........but no worse than Mario Brothers and that movie has already been added.

If that's true, you are being pretty funny.

well, Home Alone is one of those films that is almost impossible to screw up--unless your trying or something, yet whoever did this one did just that....and without going out of their way to purposely make it so bad...at least that is the current opinion of mine as of this post.......

I never thought the Matrix sequels were going to suck so bad. I was really sold on the hype before they brought out the actual sequel... In retrospect, I should have guessed Keanu Reeves wouldn't do so well in a movie where he wasn't expected to look bewildered all the time.

And who would have thought that the second sequel to Honey I Shrunk the Kids would be so bad it ended up being a DVD-only release.  Life's a b***h that way I guess.  Maybe the next Lion King movie will be better.
