Finally caught the end on Sci Fi. I can see how some people would be offended by this mature version of the story, what with prostitutes, torture scenes, and sets that look like they came out of a Marylin Manson video, but I enjoyed it. To try and compare it to any other incarnation, especially the original movie, makes no sense since its whole purpose is to take the material in a different direction. Not quite as creative as I'd hoped it would be, and the plot kind of lost me in spots, but it could have been worse.

I wanted to watch it, but SciFi's need to run a commercial every 5 minutes or have crap running across the bottom of the screen made it unwatchable for me. I'll wait for the DVD and avoid the commercials.

I looks interesting and a nice twist on an old story. Hopefully it's better than most of SciFi original productions.

Not as good as last year's The Lost Room. That was an excellent show.

Haven't gotten around to viewing it just yet.  I ended up DVRing the miniseries as I couldn't find the time last week to watch it.

A bald man named Savalas visited me last night in a dream.  I think it was a Telly vision.

I watched little bits of it here and there and it looked pretty interesting.  Just didn't have the time to watch the whole thing.

I thought it was well done and they did a few tie ins with original which were amusing. This mini-series garnered SciFi's highest ever ratings.

And you thought Trek isn't cool.

Overall, I liked it.  I never did get to see the last part of the series, well, save for the last 5 minutes which I did see.

Got into a 'debate' at another board about who was hotter: Dorothy or The Witch.  I pick Dorothy.
