Edited to Add: damn, this show's animal transfermation is so WTF-ish!  I bet that was disturbing to many a child back in the day -that is if they stuck around for the whole 20 minute transformation.

I really, really wish that SOMEONE would release all 7 or so episodes of this on DVD at some point. Hell, they could make it a flipper disc and have it be just one disc for only 10 bucks!

I still say someone will remake it someday with CGI transformations and a greater variety of animal for him to change into.

Hey, they want us to take a new Kinght Rider seriously, so why not this. It has name recognition, and it worked for redoing Battlestar Galactica and that was another kitsch/guilty pleasure classic from our childhoods.

Then again, they tried the same thing with Kolchak: The Night Stalker, and look how long that lasted, or didn't.
