Wow, my childhood just fell on me. I remember watching this every day, had one heck of an opening montage. What sticks out the most was that head at the end. People got slimed each episode, too. Wasn't that the show that created "slime" for Nick, which they've since turned their back on. Traitors  :hatred:!

I recall when we first got cable in my area discovering this show and enjoying it.  Something dark about the whole show that made it funny.

Ah, yes, I watched this regularly. I kind of had a thing for Moose, though admittedly Lisa was cuter. Moose was, well, just Moose, and I liked that about her. I had kind of forgotten how overblown Ross was, but the clip brought enough of that back to remind me.

Mr. DS

Is this the show that started the whole Nickelodeon slime thing?

I believe it is yes -I also remember that Alanis Morrisette was on the cast roll call at one time too.  Yeah my sis and I watched this all the time - seemed to be the same guy who played all the adult roles. I remember Moose and Lisa the most but also remember Alister and Kevin(?) I think his name was.  Both of those two ended up on a Nickelodean movie called UFO Kidnapped but I never heard of them being in anything afterward.

Memorable Quotes:
"Don't encourage your Father"
"What do you think's in the burgers"
"I don't know" = slimed
"Wet, water, etc." = bucket of water

I didn't know about Alanis Morrisette until today. Weird. And yes, they featured one adult male and one adult female in all grown-up roles. The man was Les Lye (Ross). I don't remember the female adult. I don't remember Alister right off, but Kevin just kind of grew up on the show, and when he left his on-air role, he started writing for the show. I think I read that he's a psychologist now working with at-risk kids in group homes.

I know that if this show came on now, I'd probably consider it as terrible as I do most shows featuring kids, but at the time, it was just good, goofy fun. But Nickelodeon has a way of coming out with a couple of good shows every now and then: I currently (at least I think it's still on) still enjoy Ned's Declassified School Survival Guide: again, just good, goofy fun.

Wow, I feel so much better.  I thought I was the only Moose lover out there.

I remember this show when I was younger.  I always though it was funny, and see that youtube clip really made me feel good.

I remember this show.  Good stuff.

What the hell happened to Nickelodeon?

All the good shows are gone.  Since like, 2000 I think I can name about 2 shows I would admit to watching on their network.
