How come cartoon food always looks so good...? Like in Tom and Jerry when they make a sandwich or something...

Mr. DS

I brought the car in for a tuneup and luckily theres a library up the road.  My hapiness about the library is shattered due to another couple hundred just left my life and went into the hands of mechanics.

Come to think of it, why DID that semi-truck just spontaneously blow up?  I mean, yeah, I know Paxton's character jams his hand into the engine, but that alone should have done it, right?

Or like when they take a huge bite out of a Turkey leg. For some reason it just makes me hungry... :teddyr:

Use a search engine, turn the safty off, and type in random words and see how long it takes before you encounter porn.

It's a fun time waster for all the family...as long as they're over 18

Every time I see an image of Summer Glau, she looks better and better. I suspect she's going to be one of those women that is a total hottie all the way to her 50s. Also, she's 27 years old now, so I doubt we'll be seeing any Lindsay Lohan, Brittney Spears meltdown from her. Isn't it nice to see a smart, hot, young star that isn't making an ass out of themselves?

Last night I went to a ball game after eating a handful of somas where I thus proceeded to step in a dead bird...life just gets better and better.

We had our snowball bushes covered in leaves to protect them from the winter cold.  When I was removing the leaves this spring, I reached in and found something slimy.  Yes, a dead bird  :teddyr:

Back in the '80s you could kick back on a weekend morning or early afternoon, turn on the TV, and find some fun little B-movie you'd never seen before.  Now it's nothing but big name movies you've seen ten times already.  If there are even any movies at all.  In the '90s at least they had TV shows like Relic Hunter, The Lost World, Cleopatra 2525, Jack of All Trades, Earth 2, etc.  Now we get squat.

Snowball bushes: good
Flip flops: good

bare hands and dead birds: bad
Flip flops and dead birds: bad

somewhere there is a lesson in all of this....

something i wrote recently:

Sitting idle, staring at the floor
How much longer
Can we maintain?
Till single drop of red
Flows upward into glory.

Brush the hair from your eyes
and the innocence from your skin
While you thought the devil was sleeping
He was knocking softly
With your back to the door.

Let him in...
To sing a song

Render unto me
anyway I can have
but always true

It was never about love
Only struggle

Lean back
And wait for the warmth
into your arms
spreading to the back of your neck
till I no longer feel your memories

We never had a plan
Only a gun...

Let's take walk
With my hand in yours
In a wide open space
Its here I will drown
Waiting for a liquid cure.
