I feel kind of stupid now (more so than usual).  Took my cable box in to exchange it, because the sound was screwed up.  Got a replacement, same problem.  Yeah, um...just a bad connection where the cable box plugs into the DVD recorder. 

Oh well.  Works great now!

I'm getting $75, essentially, for free.  I found a set of Jarts in my grandmother's basement.  My girlfriend's uncle collects Jarts sets.  He made me an offer.  All I have to do is drive it out to him.

So I sign up for the IGN (video game) message boards.  They let me post one message.  When I try to post a second, it takes me to a screen listing the various membership plans, starting at $2.60 a month.
