I was lonely too one time until I find someone I could connect with online.

God, I could use some real, human interaction.  I'm just so damn lonely.  I emailed a local United Way rep (twice) to see if they had volunteer stuff to do in this area and I got no answer. 

I'm depressed too, I just can't think of a reason to keep going on.  The weeks are all the same, there's nothing to look forward and it seems like my attempts at improving things aren't bearing fruit. 

I think I'll take a nap, maybe I'll feel better after I wake up.

I think it's really important to have something to work towards in your life.  I'm just talking little stuff - for instance, learn to play an instrument.  Over the weeks, months, and years of practice, you see yourself getting better.  And there's always new songs to learn.  It's the same with other hobbies, like playing golf, or weightlifting.  You put in some effort or practice each day, you see yourself making progress - the weeks don't seem the same any more.  Or maybe you like building a nice home theater system, or working on your car, even if it's just installing a new stereo system or something.  Or video games.  I recently bought a new video game console, and besides just playing games on it, I spend a lot of time online reading about new games coming out, discussing stuff with other gamers, etc.  Of course you can do that with movies too, especially bad ones 

Just stuff to keep your mind occupied so you're not sitting around feeling depressed.

I was going to suggest the same thing.
Try to get a new hobby. Keep the old ones, of course, but a new hobby is always fun.
You've gotta break out from the same old routine!

I'm going to rent a bunch of horror movies like everyone else in the world in honor of halloween, but the real horror is my queue since netflix started shipping me 6 movies a week. I freely admit I can't keep up with finding that many interesting movies. watching them isn't hard as I have nothign else to do and tv sucks
