How come most government run offices (Housing Authority, DMV, etc) are NOT set up to take debit cards, even though they regularly take money?  This makes NO damn sense whatsoever.  Having the ability to take debit cards is one of the most basic things in business these days and no one thought to put that in? 

Yes, I know, they take checks, but who the hell over 30 writes checks these days?  And maybe I'm silly, but I'm not really big on carrying large amounts of money around in my pocket...

I bought a white gold, pearl ring for my wife today ... Im getting on my knee and asking her to marry me again ... yes shes wife, but we sort of split up in sept ...

As of late oct, nov and dec we have been working things out. We are getting back together but I was thinking this would be nice to spark things back up ... sound good?

Im going to take her to a park with a beautiful gazebo and Im going to bring my laptop to play Amelie's Comptine D' un Autre Ete in the background (thats her fav song) to make it romantic.

Only advice I can think of is to make sure the song is on the computer, make sure the computer is all cued up  before hand.  (Maybe have it on, in your laptop bag).

I'm over at some other website, talking about a video game with some guy.  Being my usual, almost nauseatingly polite self.  I said I thought the demo for the game could have been improved, and even said that it really didn't matter to me personally, as I've already ordered the game.  I was just concerned about what the general public would think of it.  So this guy gets all defensive and rude, like some politician who's latest policy position has come under attack from the opposition.     Over a video game.  I said "Oh, whatever.  This conversation is really pointless."  Sometimes ya just gotta wonder about some people.
