The mail lady delivered my UFO DVD Megaset yesterday.  I guess it didn't fit in the mailbox, so she apparently snuck up to the house and left it on the back step, directly under the edge of the roof.  There's a foot of snow on the roof, and it's above freezing today. 

Thank god for shrinkwrap and two layers of bubble wrap.

Back when I was taking a primate behaviour course I was at the zoo regularly for research.  The marmosets would sucker people in to getting up close and then pee at them.  They were good at it.  Years later I went to a local (different) zoo with my youngest son (who of course had heard this story) and lo and behold: the marmosets put on their 'cute' act, lined spectators up and let fly.  This may be the beginning of one of those 'family' traditions: visit zoos in our travels and check out the marmosets.  From a safe distance.
