Well, I don't think you could call it magic really, although the effects do seem to work every single time....

When Christmas shopping I always freak myself out imagining the awkwardness of giving a particularly inappropriate or lame gift.

I've got this tooth that isn't quite bad enough to make me go to the dentist, but it is somewhat uncomfortable, and it's not getting better all on its own.  Funny, teeth rarely do.

Sigh...I suppose I'll put it off until it gets really painful, like usual.  That'll probably be Friday, when they're not open again until Monday.  That is my current plan of action.

I did that for years for my secret santa "victims" as I called them.  Some items included fake dog crap, electronic nose picker, fat girl porn and an obsessive compulsive action figure.  I gave up one year when someone got offended.
