Well...yesterday was rather interesting and humiliating.

I got together with my friend to continue recording the EP and things got pretty bad. At first, we recorded some new material and despite my early fears, it actually came out pretty good.

Then....I decided to try to add my vocals to one of our songs.

Let's put it this way: the song wound up sounding like Krusty the Clown singing something that belonged in a saturday morning cartoon. I was so devastated by how awful it sounded that I begged my friend to delete it.

Well, looks like we're gonna have to find a REAL vocalist.

It's interesting how different people can have such different personalities.  Kind of makes you wonder what causes that.

You know, honestly?  I think I enjoyed collecting Magic The Gathering cards than I did actually playing the game. 

Granted, part of that might be cause I kept getting my ass kicked 9 times out of 10, but still...

That just got me thinking I remember trying to collect an entire set of Chronicles and I never got to it not to mention it was a small and not popular run.  Should have tried to Homelands.   

Also, why does everyone look down on people that are not hip on technology.  Case in point, I feel nostalgic and am playing old 8-bit NES games and no one seems as enthralled as me on my XBOX friends list.  All these people there and different opinions. 

Finally, why does food taste better fried?  I need to find a way to give fried chicken flavor to steamed vegetables.

I get to go have my tooth pulled out today.  The one I had a root canal on a month ago.  Sigh...that really makes my frickin' day.  I wonder if the great tooth saga will finally end today, or if it can be dragged out for a few more weeks?  

I'm betting on the latter.

EDIT:  Oh, so they're not even going to pull the damned tooth out today - it's just a consultation    Oh for f***'s sake.  Now I get to go through the whole "looking forward to getting my tooth pulled out today" process for a second time.

I had a tooth pulled out years ago.  Went to my regular dentist, he put his dentist pliers on the thing and badda-bing badda-bang, all done.  Now my regular dentist (since my old dentist moved away a long time go) sends me to a different dentist to get the root canal, and then the different dentist sends me to yet a third dentist to get the thing pulled out - but he's not going to pull it out yet, he just wants to consult with me .  AAAAAAAAAAARRRRRRGGGGHHHH!!!

I had two back teeth pulled out years ago.

It's always the ones way in the back isn't it?  The nice thick ones that are attached really good and are the hardest to get at.  8:30 Tuesday morning somebody will be trying to dislodge one of mine    At least I'll be too sleepy at that time of day to really realize what's going on.  That's my plan anyway.
