I've got my wife's grandparent's old Seth Thomas ticking behind me.  You can hear it in the bedroom, and it is kind of relaxing at night.  It used to be in the family room, and it always seemed to be a minute fast so it would start bonging right when the guy on TV was explaining the whole plot that I'd been waiting 59 minutes to hear.
