I went to feed my goats yesterday and there were three snakes in the corn crib.
Two of them were copperheads!!!
The little one got away; the bigger one had a conversation with a nearby agricultural implement.

Copperheads are amongst the LEAST venomous of all venomous snakes. I grew up not knowing that and being ultra-wearyl of them, what with growing up in central Ohio where they are common. I was even more leery of cottonmouth, which are also rarely fatal. I grew up thinking that if I got bit by either in my back yard, I'd be dead before I got to the back deck.

There were some bats flying around my backyard a few nights ago.

I tell you one thing: watching bats flutter around aimlessy = MUCH more entertaining than what's on TV these days.
