Why was there no Jurassic Park: The Animated Series?  It was the biggest movie when released. There where novelizations, toys, video games, clothing lines etc.  But no Saturday morning cartoon show.
At least, that's what Gary Busey told me...

:cheers:  I'm a  Sid and Marty Krofft fan, shame the  remake was  screwed up by that  I don't just play  an idiot  actor  Will Ferrell whose 15 minutes were  up  years  ago.

They showed that on the SyFy Channel a while back - I was surprised how well it's held up over the years.  Still entertaining today.
