I got Netflix and after finishing Arrested Development,

How did you like it? If you go back and watch them all again you'll see many things you missed the first time around. I think it's one of the best shows ever on TV, definitely the best sitcom.
Utter brilliance in the television comedy format.

I thought the Rita story line was a little weak and Im not sure why they had an Australian guy in it (to be honest, that might have been the gag as Ive heard Americans get Brits and Aussies confused) as her partner in crime. But all the main characters really grow on you and its also such a fast paced and well plotted (I kept watching because I wanted to see how the situation unfolded not for the gags) sitcom that keeps the jokes rolling.
I loved some of the comments made by Micheal Bluth in the last series, when they knew they were axed, being able to subtly comment on their own show without breaking the forth wall.

Very good stuff indeed.

I'm looking forward to the next series and Movie.
I hope Franklin makes an appearance.

I'm glad Amazon has that "You purchased this item on such-and-such a date" thing on their site.  Otherwise I would have bought a second copy of The Terminators last night.  How could I have forgotten that I already own  this fabulous Asylum flick starring Jeremy London?  Hard to believe

How many different Sonic cartoons were there? I'm thinking 4. The chilli dog one, the one with the awesome intro music, the underground one and the Jetix one.

getting ready for a big interview with a legal firm that I'm really hoping will hire me (as a paralegal, not a lawyer).  Wish me luck!

I noticed my daughter had a bunch of photographs this weekend.  Now I see my printer's out of color ink.   :hatred:

Good luck! I'd hire you... if you lived here... and I had money to hire a paralegal... and I needed one... and you qualified.
I'll take you places the hand of man has not yet set foot...

I think the interview went well.  And I'm feeling confident.  For one thing, they called me out of the blue, having gotten my name from the school I got my certification at.  So they called me up and asked me to apply.  As a bonus, the woman who interviewed me today (and who would be my supervisor if I get the job) has been friends for years with the guy who taught my class.

I needed some good news today and I think I just got it.

I'd also hire you.  :teddyr:

It's hopeless: say "The Avengers" to me and I think Steed and Mrs Peel (as in Patrick Macnee and Diana Rigg). My references are firmly anchored in '60's TV it seems.   Talk about 'formative years'!

I still watch that! Its great as its humour and general quirkiness still hold up.
