I apparently created an account at the GameFAQs forum 3 years ago.  I posted there once.  Now I just signed in for the first time in 3 years and I've got 514 karma and I'm at level 32.

That must have been one hell of a post

Oh you just accumulate karma as a function of time, same with your level.  That's why I thought it was funny.  I never even go there but I've really worked my way up in the community

Cool, seems Chiller is doing a Tales From The Dark Side mini-marathon today. I really like that show. Reminds me of being little, watching it at home at 7:30 Saturday evenings in the '80s. It seemed like back then it was an event. I remember I even used to be proud I could watch episodes and not be scared. That's how young I was when it came on. :-)

I have an aunt who is a lawyer. I found out over the weekend that one of her firm's current cases is the defense of a man who paid homeless people to fight each other, and he would informally take bets among his friends on the outcome of those fights. My libertarian side is struggling to define exactly what is wrong with that, since all involved were consenting adults, but my conscience is screaming blue murder at the inhumanity of it all. As for my aunt, she said, "Lawyers aren't paid to judge their clients, just represent them."

I am so glad I never went to law school!
