I'm getting into Laundry.  Not nearly as fun with with 6 people in the house if you don't keep up you get buried. I really should have my kids start washing their own clothes. At least they sweep the floors!

We finally took down our Christmas tree.  All it ever did was provide us with joy and happiness, and in return ask just a few cups of water each morning.  And we repaid it by throwing it out in the cold, and even vacuuming up its little needles so as to leave no trace that it was ever here.

Oh God how can I ever live with myself?!?!

I volunteer at one three days a month through a program that brings books there, putting in time at the hospital library, and over and over again seeing the bravery of children, many of them dealing with terrible illnesses, always makes whatever is bothering me in my own life seem small in comparison. I can't feel like my own problems even begin to compare or that I have reason at all to be down, and it's humbling. Seriously, you ought to try it sometime.
