The Kolchak: the Night Stalker episode "The Zombie" is one of the best voodoo zombie stories IMO. Also quite good are the classic films WHITE ZOMBIE and I WALKED WITH A ZOMBIE. George Romero gave us the current popular form with NIGHT OF THE LIVING DEAD but brain feasting I believe he may have gotten the idea from some classic sci-fi alien brain parasites stories (Heinlein's Puppet Masters perhaps?)...

The brain eaters came from the Return of the Living Dead series. That's also where they started getting faster. Its a fun series because it just keeps getting worse and worse.

I want to print out a PDF document but using Foxxit Reader all the text looks like a bunch of mmmm with the m's overlapping each other.  So I downloaded the Adobe PDF reader to see if maybe that would work.  And I actually managed to find where the document was located, load it into Adobe, and it's now printing out correctly.

Mark this day on your calendars, I actually got something on the computer to work!

If some superheroes were real, they'd do more damage to property than some major disasters.

That's why I think Hancock was fairly realistic.

If I got a Corgi, I want to name it Tyrion.

How upset would people be with me?

IF I got a Corgi.

And I am sure the urge will pass.

My new addiction: finely diced (in the food processor) jar of peperoncini (mild hot), which I use as a spread on sandwiches. It gives it a nice kick.

I once saw an ad in a magazine that read: "Contact me. I can solve your problems for you." I have always wondered what that was about.

Scammers always seem to choose the most unconvincing of things to try and trick others. "How to make 5 figures in 1 month"...yeah right. "Your credit card company (no names given) needs your number"...uhm sure "they" do..."You've won a trip to the Carribean [even though you never entered a contest]....yep, right on.
