Did anyone notice I was gone?

I took the family (minus my wife) to a family reunion in Idaho.  The kids and I took a few days getting there, and had a great time.  We had some good hikes some of course some $hit happened, and of course it happened to my daughter.  I think I've said this before but my daughter (6 years old) is diabetic and if her blood sugar gets too low she'll have seizures.  Well on the night of the 5th her blood sugar was high at bedtime so I gave her a small dose in insulin, then I set the alarm on my phone for midnight, so I could check to make sure she wasn't dropping too much, and we went to bed.  At 11:55 she started screaming because she was going into a seizure (it's what she does when she gets low).  So the camp ground woke up, there was a nurse near by who came over to help, and we long story short we ended up going into the ER.  We stayed the next night in town just in case, then the following day (the 7th) we drove for 10 hours to get home. 

Over all the kids had a good time, it just ended badly.

I'm planning having a daddy/daughter weekend. Tonight we're going to watch a soccer game (go Timbers!), then tomorrow we're going to see Godzilla at the $3 theater, and Sunday is the woman's soccer game. Should be a fun!
