I went to eat at the Chinese buffet tonight before teaching my night class, and when I went to settle up, someone had paid for my dinner!
What a nice surprise.

How is it a man who literally is one of the greatest and most persuasive possible  arguments for abortion is currently attacking abortion rights and only a few grasp the extent of the irony involved?

Horrormoviefans in Germany are celebrating: George A. Romero's Dawn of the Dead (1978) is finally off the index of banned movies after 36 (!) years. The public prosecution department doesn't think the movie is glorifying violence anymore, by today's standards, which was the "reason" for banning DOTD back in 1983.

I think that's pretty cool news

Just read that Avengers: Endgame has managed over a billion in ticket sales in its opening weekend alone.

Why April has totally sucked this year.

1. My wife's van broke down and getting a used car was cheaper than fixing it.
2. My dog broke a toe nail and got blood all over the house.
3. My kids had a clogged shower drain that would cause the shower to nearly over flow every day and they never told me.  I ended up spending a few hours fixing it on a day off.
4. My neighbor let's me borrow his edger for my law, it broke.

Something else happened yesterday.
I went to play disc golf with my kids a local park.  After we play the 9 hole course we go home.  Once we arrive home my daughter starts freaking out because she can't find "her kit".  She's diabetic and her kit is where she keeps her testing supplies.  So after a quick check of the car we head back to the park.  Someone found it and left it in the basket on the 2nd hole.  She lost it early on and no one realized it for an hour.  Thankfully someone realized it was likely something medical and left it where we could find it.  I think my luck is starting to turn around.
This is my awesome signature.  Jealous?

Taken all together the box office takings of the Marvel based superhero movies is over 21 billion. Compare that to Star Wars which has made a bit over 9 billion.

It sounds like the STAR WARS franchise is still earning more per movie, though. Although who knows if they included ROGUE ONE and SOLO in SW's figures.

Bill clinton getting a hummer from a young woman who wanted her "presidential knee pads" was grounds for impeachment and proved he was unfit for office.

Trump's record of adultery, moving on married women like a b-tch,  grabbing women by the xxxxxx, saying you have to treat women like sh-t,  having sex with a porn star and paying her to keep silent, etc are no big deal.

Pete Buttigieg being gay is a disqualified for public office and something he must repent for.

At times I wonder if most christians realize hypocrisy is a sin in their religion...

Well, you start with a false premise.  if Bill Clinton had simply TOLD THE TRUTH WHEN HE WAS UNDER OATH, he never would have been impeached.
When you swear to tell the truth, the whole truth, and nothing but the truth, and then lie, and ask others to lie on your behalf, that is PERJURY and SUBORNING PERJURY, both Federal crimes.

I will say nothing in defense of Trump.  His personal behavior is an abomination and Christian support of him is woefully misplaced, mainly based on his better-late-than-never opposition to abortion, which many Christians, myself included, see as the wholesale murder of unborn children.  It wasn't enough to make me vote FOR Trump, but it's enough to keep me from voting for ANY Democrat.

As for  Buttigieg or however he spells his name: Biblically, homosexuality is condemned as immoral.  How he deals with the contradiction between the Holy Scriptures of the faith he claims to believe in and his own lifestyle is between him and the Almighty, and doesn't really affect in any  way his overall fitness and qualifications for office.

You're right,  clinton should have told the truth and told congress his sex life was none of their damn business.

As for the bible calling being gay a sin,  well it calls eating shellfish a sin, wearing two fabrics a sin, planting two different crops in the same field is a sin,  etc. I wonder if eating shrimp or wearing cotton and polyester will ever get a politician attacked.

Going back to 1966's Batman DC movie's have made 6.6 billion dollars leaving them with some catching up to do, but is still an impressive total I'd say.

Once more you display your ignorance of Scripture.  The dietary requirements of the OT were for Israelites only, and Jesus declared all foods to be clean in the Gospel of Mark.
Sexual intercourse outside of marriage however, was condemned in the New Testament, as was homosexuality.  You don't have to agree with it, or abide by it, but don't make misleading claims about it.

As for Bill Clinton - when you are being sued for sexual harassment of a government employee, your past sexual behavior becomes a legitimate line of questioning.  The Special Prosecutor had every right to ask him the question.
