I'm scrolling down youtube's "trending" page and see nothing of interest. It's either GOT related stuff, Avengers related stuff, Netflix related stuff, Fortnite stuff, vlog videos of youtubers I've never heard of, music videos of artists I don't care for, the occasional "I got cancer/some disease/lost weight" video I'm not in the mood for, weird tabloid-ish clickbait news I have no desire to click, life hacks that look stupid and surprisingly, not ONE cute animal video.

I have a tool called Channel Blocker installed on my browser that gets rid of some of the more trendy stuff.

Was watching someone trying to do a Kickstarter for a Game of Thrones cardgame. The guy doing the campaign didn't own the IP for it and (although I didn't see the video's myself) apparently posted video's up that seemed to indicate he was abusing his wife and kids. One of the guys reported the violation of the IP to the company that does currently own it and the kickstarter has been suspended. Hopefully child protection services and so forth are also checking things out.

Upcoming vacation: first, the airline I booked my trip with went out of business. Next, the substitute airline cancelled my return flight, forcing me to come home a day early. Now, my airbnb cancelled my reservation on short notice, forcing me to scramble for a more expensive option.

I think this is why travel agents still have a purpose in society.
