Are there certain Actors/Actresses that you think ruin a movie, or that you think should not be in the acting profession? Here is my list:

1. Owen Wilson
2. Dudley Moore
3. J-Lo
4. Brad Pitt (He was good in IWTV)
5. Julia Roberts

Do you have a list?

1. Vince Vaughn
2. Owen Wilson
3. Claire Forlani
4. Jessica Alba (hot but can't act)
5. Dane Cook

Those are my top 5 but an honorable mention goes to Will Smith and Susan Sarandon.
He learned almost too late that man is a feeling creature... and because of it, the greatest in the universe........
-Dr. Paul Nelson (Peter Graves)

That gum you like is going to come back in style.
-The Man from Another Place

Rev. Powell

Keanu Reeves, and that's about it.  There are plenty of actors/actresses who I don't like just because of the material they choose to be seen in (Adam Sandler, Angelina Jolie) but I'd give them a chance if they were cast in something that looked interesting.  But Reeves is one of the few who can actually consistently detract from an otherwise fine movie (see BRAM STOKER'S DRACULA), yet still consistently get work.
I'll take you places the hand of man has not yet set foot...

The following get on my nerves but I can tolerate them at times, usually for the sake of others:

Mark Wahlberg
Nicolas Cage
Adam Sandler
Will Ferrell
Jackie Chan (since he went Hollywood)
Paris Hilton (not an actress)
"This above all: To thine own self be true!"

Killer Bees

These are the people who's movies I deliberately avoid:

Eva Mendez
Elizabeth Hurley
Bette Midler
Nicole Kidman
Brad Pitt
Steve Carrell
J-Lo
Lindsay Lohan/Paris Hilton/Jessica Simpson (these 3 are just the same person in different clothes)
George Clooney

I'll post others as I think of them.

Personally, I think Bram Stoker's Dracula was a flaming pile of Jar Jar turds.  So Reeves didn't bother me at all in that setting (sort of a distracting pain principle).

Actors/actresses whose _work_ I can't stand (as I don't know any of them to know if I can't stand them or not):

1.  Pauly!  Shore!
2.  Almost anything Christian Slater, except Heathers.
3.  Adam Sandler
4.  Jessica Simpson, aye,
5.  J-Lo.

Mrdstruction

1)Woody allen Wish i could kill the little whiny bastard ithink my version of hel would be an eternity strapped to a chair forced to watch woody allen movies
2)Steven segal (1 facial expression every movie every scene and every situation)
3)frankie munez
4)halle barry (b***h)
5) Jaimie Fox
6) Ben Asslick(affleck)
7) Mel Gibson
8)david hasselhof

Mr. DS

I generally hate actors who serve as comedic relief...although for some of the following it doesn't necesarily hold true...in no particular order...

1.) Sandra Bullock
2.) Owen Wilson
3.) Chris Tucker
4.) Tom Cruise
5.) Adam Sandler (haven't found a movie yet where he made me laugh)
6.) Jennifer Aniston
7.) Jerry Seinfeld
8.) Shia Lebouf (based souly on the Transformers movie)

There more but I can't think of them now.

You've pretty much mentioned them all:

- Most SNL alumni, from Chevy Chase and Dan Ackroyd to Paulie Shore. I'd only save Bill Murray from this bunch, and only because of his latest stuff with Wes Anderson or Sophia Coppola.

- Nicholas Cage. He was an OK actor, but he's become a joke.

- Uma Thurman. I don't hate her, but for some reason I can¡t care for any part she plays.

- Mark Wahlberg. He's not too bad, but certainly no good either. They way he plays any part is almost interchangeable.

- Ben Stiller. Again, not that bad an actor, but I just can't find him funny.

I can stand Adam Sandler, it's his movies I can't stand. Of course, it's his fault, as he has complete control of them, but I sort of find him likeable as far as he doesn't ham it up, like in "Little Nicky".
Due to the horrifying nature of this film, no one will be admitted to the theatre.

Karma for that - my sentiments exactly.  Heathers was thee classic 80s movie (IMO) but I'm afraid it was the first and last good movie with this guy lol.

I'd have to say that Ben Affleck pretty much ruins anything nowadays.  Mallrats -his presence was tolerable; Dazed and Confused was ok because he gets the shaft.

Funny thing was, I heard him interviewed on NPR once last year and he blames Gigli's failure on his J-lo relationship.  Didn't dawn on him that the movie totally sucked donkey no matter who starred in it.

I also detest Tom Cruise, even if he is the main character in Eyes Wide Shut, one of my favs, but then, his presence is part of the message, even if he was unknowingly the butt of the joke :)
