okay, i've been watching a bunch of the older MST3K episodes. i guess i'm more of a mike fan. it seems like the joel episodes, especially those with the original servo are pretty flat. i mean, in some instances, they're just reading the screen titles in a goofy voice. this is comedy?

so, are there any older episodes that are especially good? for reference, some of my favorite eps are "mitchell", "girl in the golden boots", and the feature film "this island earth".

I like the episodes with the movies of "Jack Forst" and "The Final Sacrifice".  I think the shows with Mike are a little funnier.

This Island Earth
Santa Claus Conquers the Martians- I like the movie a lot.
Girl in Golden Boots

There's a few others, but they're my favorites right off the bat.

I ultimately like the Mike episodes aw well.

I think Jack Frost and Wild World of Batwoman are absolutely histerical.  I also like Princ of Space, Giant Spider Invasion, and Skydivers.

mst3k: deathstalker and the warriors from hell had some really good lines in it.

whoah! rigormortis! they must have pounded re-bar into her!

mst3k: laserblast had that fun running "ARE YOU READY FOR SOME FOOTBALL?!" gag, and all of the redneck jokes near the end of mst3k: the incredible melting man were pretty good.

I bought the VHS of this movie and love it.  The cover shows three different people that are not in the move at all.

I think my favorite was The Pod People.

"You can do magic things!"
"It's called evil, kid."

"I'll never forget you, Trumpy."
"The way you callously knocked off fifteen people, I'll never forget that. Don't ever change, Trumpy!"
