Magic Paintings, Fast growing hair and one hell of a movie..

I saw this movie a long time ago..80's(mid) about some friends that break into a ?art gallery? One of the kids is able to walk into a painting, but something inside scares him and causes him to loose his hair. He trys to use a wig but some kids laugh at him. He decides to go back to the painting, where he meets an old couple living there. They give him a magic formula that will make his hair grow back. Boy did it ever. His hair grew yards with in minutes. The art gallery owner wants to kidnap this kid because his hair is magical and the owner uses this hair to make his magic artwork.

That would be The Peanut Butter Solution, a movie I saw several times as a child and then never saw again.
