Good Thread.
There's this one guy, kinda short, a bit hammy.
Recently married, to a pretty cute chick.
Gets excited a lot.
Is into vaguely cultish religions.
Jumps on couches...
Oh, wait.
Never mind.

Edit:
I have one now. I see him all the time, most recently as Larry the Health Inspector's retarded neighbor.

What about this guy?
William Hickey

He's alway played the old weird guy with his unique delivery.

EDIT:
Thought of another one ..

Michael Ironside

Here's a two more I remembered...

Mike Starr

I never knew his name until I looked him up just now.  I always seem to remember him from Dumb & Dumber and Goodfellas.

Joel McKinnon Miller

I remember him as the garage attendant from The Truman Show.  He also plays Don on HBO's Big Love.

Mike Starr's in a lot.  I liked  him in Ed Wood as well, although it was a brief appearance.

There's a great one you've overlooked , Sid Haig.  This guy's been in all kinds of stuff for the last forty years.

Check out his IMDB file, he's been in everything, Star Trek, The Lucy Show, Batman, Get Smart, Mission Impossible, and heck he's even in THX1138.  Most folks know him now because of stuff The Devil's Rejects.

And you thought Trek isn't cool.

CheezeFlixz

Speaking of overlooked ... jeez how could I forget Geoffrey Lewis. He's been in everything from Alias Smith and Jones, high Plains Drifter, The Devil's Rejects, The Butcher and tons more. I think he been in several Clint Eastwood films.

Don't know him without hair?

There is another guy I can't think of his name, squirrelly look fellow played a lot of bum roles or farm peasant. Ah just remembered ...

William Sanderson

Also played J F Sebastian in Blade Runner.

Here's another one - Robert Costanzo.

No matter how many roles I see him in William Sanderson will always Larry, the guy from Newhart, with his brother Darryl and his other brother Darryl.

If you're an Andy Milligan fan there's no hope for you.

Here's another one I thought of...

James Hampton
He usually plays the dad in most movies I've seen him in.

Richard Masur
He's known for playing the dad in Encino Man and License to Drive.

Ometiklan

Dennis Fimple..This guy has been in about every tv show made during the 70s and 80s.
He also starred in one of My favorite B Horror movies from the 70s. Creature from Black Lake.

And when he shall die
Take him and cut him into little stars,
And he will make the face of heaven so fine
That all the world will be in love with night,
And pay no worship to the garish sun.

Richard Masur is awesome!

... and lets not forget he also played Rutherford from Risky Business (1983)

Also Clark, the guy that took care of the dogs from The Thing (1982)

My favorite was Mr. Anderson from License to Drive (1988) like Ash said.

Jack Elam, with his creepy left eye, he started as the gunfighter who normally got shot by the hero before  so many movies where he became the grizzled sidekick in the 60s and 70s.

Jack Elam is amazing!

The first 15 minutes of Once Upon A Time in the West is priceless! Seriously, every actor must wish they were as fascinatingly ugly as Jack Elam.

Also, Marshall Bell really creeps me out. Every time he shows up you know something really bad is just around the corner. I agree he's a great actor, but never has such an ordinary looking guy projected such menace. If you haven't seen Behind the Mask yet, go watch it.
