OK. Didn't the Warchowski brothers, in order to gain artistic cred so they could make "The Matrix", make some sort of indie lesbian thriller? Anybody ever see that? Is it any good?

Oh hell yeah; sex in the rain. That movie was pretty much a waste, with the exception of that one scene.

Julie Strain seems to do it better with women in movies than men.


I'll bring up another one. The sex scene from The Wild Side between Anne Heche and Joan Chen. I saw that on cable, but the supposedly uncut release of it is missing the scene. But, hey, thank god they left in the scene between Christopher Walken and Steven Bauer .

Oh, yeah, and you definitely need to check out the film The Key To Sex (unrated, of course).  Well, they showed stuff in that film I didn't think you could get away with, even on Cinemax late night (which is where I originally saw it!  Or maybe it was Showtime, can't remember).

Imagine how much better Steel Magnolias would've been if there'd been some Sally Field-on-Olympia Dukakis action!
