I once saw an erotic drama one night and I can't remember the name. I had a conversation with a friend and he was talking about some actress that he was a huge fan of and mentioned this movie, but he didn't know the name either.

There's this blonde woman with big ta-ta's who is a retired stripper, she meets this young girl in some motel parking lot and somehow they end up going into the desert and having sex in some cabin in the middle of no-where. (possibility of some weird shaman ghost dudeat one point??) Later, there is a guy the blonde refers to as "cowboy" and for some reason she forces the younger girl to get raped by him or some awful crap like that???

I think I actually saw this one on Skinemax way back in my single days.

I thought it was called something like Desert Blue, but the only title match on IMDB to that name isn't it. It might be Desert Passion, though that doesn't seem quite right either. Some particulars match, others don't quite.

Derf, I think the film circus is looking for is Desert Hearts with Helen Shaver: I think it came out in 1986 and was directed by Donna Deitch.

Nope, It's not Desert Hearts (1985), that's set in the 50's, i'm pretty sure this film was mid-90's.
It's not desert passion either. Think I remember a character called Starla aswell as cowboy....

I have seen Desert Passion and it is unlikely to be the movie.  It's a women-in-prison flick.  The only sex in the desert is a fantasy one of the two main girls has and it's with a man.

If it's the movie I'm thinking of one of the girls is blonde, and kind of famous in b-movie circles (in real life I mean).  There's a scene where she keeps offering the other girl (a brunette) more and more money, first to strip completely (girl said she's only do topless), and then to have sex with "Cowboy" (blonde girl's boyfriend, wears a cowboy hat.) 

Well, the cowboy guy eventually agrees, mainly because he's mad at blonde girl, afterward brunette girl's boyfriend shows up, wanting to know how she got all the money.

I WANT to say the blonde girl is played Shannon Tweed, but I don't think that's right... (looking at her imdb profile and none of the films seem to fit...)

Yes! this is the same film, but I still don't know the title either, I know the blonde woman isn't Shannon Tweed though.
