Jeffrey J. Smith, who was Dawg the Satan's Onion opposite me in "ROBO-C.H.I.C.", died this morning of a heart attack.  He was only 54.
He also acted in numerous TV commercials, "Ah! Marie!", a made-for-Italian-TV epic shot in Denver, Colorado, and starred in Pay-per-View's "Lock and Load".  In recent years, he had stopped acting & had instead gone to selling books full-time through Amazon.com.  I was lucky to see him for the last time a week ago when he came to see me in "Chimes At Midnight".
He leaves a young son, who I assume will now be raised by his mother -- they had separated in recent years, with Jeff getting custody.
Life is excruciatingly short -- don't put off doing something you've been meaning to for awhile . . .

I have no idea what this means.

54 is far too young, many of us expect at least another decade - I know I certainly hope so.  My best to his son if you run into the young man again.
