This is quite possibly the most ridiculous fight scene I have ever laid eyes upon. A guy who seems to attack enemies by floating into their arms and by flopping onto the ground in front of them.  :bouncegiggle:

That guy looks like an Arab/Indian/Persian version of Jackie Chan.
He's even dressed similar to how Jackie was in the big fight scene with Tony's men in "Rumble In the Bronx".

When I read your description, I thought that we were going to see a clip of Jackie Chan's "Drunken Master", which would have suited your description better than the clip, as he only does the "lie around and flop into arms" tactic at the beginning of the clip, and the rest is standard imitation Jackie Chan.  Check out "Drunken Master" sometimes, wherein the whole tactic of being an annoying floppy drunk is used to good measure.
I think this is from either Tamil or Bengali cinema -- not Bollywood/Bombay/Mumbai -- given the way the people in the background are dressed.
"Drunken Master" and its sequel are actually quite good!  I love in the clip how his kicks are gently pushing over the bags of rice, and then in the next scene are flying though the air to land on the bad-guy's back!!

I have no idea what this means.

I have seen "Drunken Master". The whole flopping/floating thing was just the first thing I typed, as I had not yet fully taken in the wonderous stupidity of the rice and monkey-child-thingy. It's really bad because he's not even touching anyone at all half the time!  :bouncegiggle: I agree with you aswell, I think it is definatley Bengali/Tamil - I have no idea what film the fight is taken from though.

QuoteOh...the BATMAN movie...from the 60's...

There's a notable moment from the TV series when Batman goes up against the Green Hornet and Robin goes up against Bruce-fricken-Lee... and wins!!! Talk about your rigged fight scenes...

I love the cheesy special effects in the clip that started this thread. I especially like how you can clearly see that those bags of rice are just sitting there after our hero kicks them, but then we cut to bags flying through the air. Obviously they decided to leap up and fly when we turned our heads away.

I'm sure I have posted this before. Fight from Strange Shadows In An Empty Room:

The cat fight at the end of Friday the 13th part 1 is rather comical.   And how could I forget the silent fight in Skydivers!

Here's another brief display from Impulse of Shatner's "action" moves.

The showdown in the gold foundry in If Looks Could Kill is one of the sorriest excuses for a fight scene ever. My sister aptly compared it to the music video for Michael Jackson's Beat It.

There's just so much wrong with it. Why does Zigesfeld's glove rip off by itself? Why did he lower himself down on a chain? If the chain his hand gets stuck on is the same one he lowered down with, why doesn't he act as a counterweight when the cage drops, and get lifted into the air? Heck, why does the cage drop to begin with?!

The first clip was just plain great! It looks like a fun movie.
The Jackie Chan clip was good too!
