This band is just silly.  This song has a part they edit out towards the end that makes it worst.  He blathers on about being a good boy while his mommy hits him.  The band is good at covers, other than that they're just...um...silly.

For the most part, I'd say I have similar taste in music as you.  Hell, I've seen you post several Richard Cheese songs.  But "Scatman" is a great song.

Okay, BOBBY, this was okay when new... maybe some still like it... I can't say I ever reeaalllyy did...

A terrible blight on an otherwise very serious and creative career. It's a tragedy this is how the world at large knows him. 

I always kind of liked this one. It actually makes me happy.

It was more of a novelty hit. Give it one more listen, keeping in mind that there are no instruments, no other singers. It's all Bobby McFerrin singing and imitating instruments with his voice. You still may not like the song, but the mouth music is kind of fun.

They're a 'guilty pleasure', I guess you'd say, for me.  I dunno.  I don't feel embarrassed liking them.  I'm not as hardcore into them as I used to be, but I still like Disturbed.
