LITTLE OTIK (2000) by Jan Svankmejer

 !

Correct!

I'm glad folks didn't have to Google 'Donkey Skin'.

QuoteI'm going to go with "Alice" or "Neco z Alenky" by the same director.

I almost posted a photo from that. Svankmejer's film are something of an acquired taste (OTIK is by far his most accessable) but they are fascinating once you get use to his style.

Raff, the bizarre thing is that a few minutes after I posted my first guess, I put in a DVD and watched the coming attractions... and what should appear but a trailer for LITTLE OTIK!  I hope that happens from now on with whatever bizarre picture you pick.

Now, I predict my next picture will go one of two ways.  Either someone will recognize it in 0.2 seconds, or I will have to give such explicit hints that it's impossible not to guess it.  Either way, here it is:

Good luck!
I'll take you places the hand of man has not yet set foot...

A shot from his DRACULA: PAGES FROM A VIRGIN'S DIARY came close to being my last mystery photo.

So my 0.2 seconds guess was correct.

The HEART OF THE WORLD DVD was the one that had the LITTLE OTIK trailer.

You're up again!

What can I say? I'm a bonafied Maddiniac!

Again: may be a really easy one, for fans of the genre.

I don't know why, but... The Fog?

Either that or it's a still from the trailer for the FRIDAY THE 13th remake.  No, wait, I know!

Is it GIGLI?     :tongueout:

QuoteIs it GIGLI?

Sadly, no.  :bluesad:

Bennifer receives the disappointing news that, yet again, GIGLI has not been selected as the 'Mystery Photo'.

Not THE FOG.

But here's a hint: that is indeed one of the 'walking dead' sneaking up on our hapless heroine.

It's not that movie about the couple whose car breaks down in a snow storm on/near a bridge who start seeing ghostly apparitions is it?

The area where it takes place hasn't had too much experience with snow, until very recently.
