The movie I was thinking of was PATHOGEN (2006), directed by 12 year old Emily Hagins.  The documentary is called ZOMBIE GIRL: THE MOVIE.

Yes!

A cheeseball movie, but when you realize who put it together, it makes you wonder what she's gonna do when she's given a budget and real actors.  Worth ordering from http://www.cheesynuggets.com/, if for no other reason than to finance her next film.

Naw, it's not EL FRENETICO AND GO GIRL.

The movie was made the same year Psychotronic stopped publication, though.

We live in quite an interesting age. You can tell someone's sexual orientation and level of education from just their interests.

Decent guess, but this one is not a US production.

A word of caution.  What ever you do, do NOT, I repeate DO NOT, type in the following for a Google image search: movie with girl shooting from fingertips.

Just trust me.  That said my guess, even though I have not seen it, is:

THE MACHINE GIRL

I thought about that too, but I watched it recently and do not remember that scene.  Also, the hint is that the movie was made in 2006, "The Machine Girl" is 2008.
