If the date wasn't off, I'd guess "The Bed Sitting Room", but that was made later and I have no idea if it had dialogue.

The film tries to be artsy, but I don't know much about the story behind the mural. I posted it because it is pretty distinct.

The film's title is 4 words, one of them is a made up word.

You and Raffine were the two who I thought had the greatest chance of having seen it, but I was wondering if someone might surprise me. It is out on DVD.

The film was specifically made in NYC - The Bronx.

Also, my apologies, it was made in 1965 - not 1963 as I first posted. I corrected the earlier entry.
