Pride and Glory

Has anyone else seen this?  It was not Goodfellas or Shawshank but I thought it wasn't bad.  I can see why critics didn't like it but I think they are just nit-picking and not accepting it for the movie it was meant to be.  I believe they probably thought it was going for awards but if you watch it you can obviously see that if they were they did one stupid job of it by making it look way too real......kind of what killed the Miami Vice movie for most people.
