Movie about a new lawyer?

If I'm remembering this right, this guy was a young lawyer, and he was defending a guy of one crime or another. To make the point that a person could be sitting in a chair and not know that there was something under it, he put a box or bag under the opposition's lawyer's chair which had a dildo or vibrator in it. Any ideas? Thanks

That HAS to be it. I was thinking the guy's name was Stormy Waters, , but it just didn't sound right, and I was thinking it was a brat-pack'r that starred in it. Time frame sounds right also. Thanks.
