Kinda sucked. The acting is what REALLY killed it. Not a hole lot of redeeming qualities, but then again, ive never been big on the "try to pass off little kids as scary" genre. I did make me jump a few times, but nuthin' that really stuck with me.

I agree with you that little kids arn't scary. 
At least, that's what Gary Busey told me...

Most kids in movies aren't scary, with the exception of the possessed Linda Blair in the Exorcist, and the "It's Alive" baby.

I was actually intrigued when I saw the preview for this one...but it looks like I made the right decision to not to see it in the theater.

You know, there was also a 1991 horror film called The Unborn, which featured killer babies that ripped out of pregnant ladies' bellies and stuff like that.  Could have been good, shlocky fun, but they turned it into a very unpleasant and icky film that I only wanted to sit through once.

I agree.  That was the main reason 'The Changeling' didn't stick with me.  It was quite creepy at first until they revealed that the ghost was just a kid.  Somehow that made the ghost less frightening.
