I watched the first "Crank" back when I had Blu-Ray and HD available to me and found it to be great stupid fun.  Almost as fun as "Shoot 'Em Up".  So when I just saw they are releasing a sequel, I thought, "How is THAT possible?"

So, here's the trailer.  As long as they openly acknowledge the blatant insanity of the premise, I think this might be a fun continuation of the original.

Like you said, "stupid fun." This one looks a lot stupider and a lot more fun. And, hey, Corey Haim is in it... so there's an even more cheese factor for ya. Also helps that I swoon for Amy Smart.

I didn't like CRANK very much . . . too much like a feature-length music video . . . and I'm not a Jason Statham fan, so I'll probably bypass this sequel.
"Do not walk behind me, for I may not lead. Do not walk ahead of me, for I may not follow. Do not walk beside me either. Just pretty much leave me the hell alone."

Jason Statham falls into the category of "How the hell does this guy get a movie career?" for me.  Him and his stupid movies.

I dunno.
"The path to Heaven runs through miles of clouded Hell."

Don't get too close, it's dark inside.

I enjoyed the 1st one. I bought it sight unseen on DVD on recommendations from friends and thought it was blast.

When I heard that they were doing a sequel, but since they're acknowledging how silly the idea of him surviving that fall at the end of the 1st one, maybe this one will be just as good.

I'm going to go see it in April.

Pretty much mindless violence. I liked it, but it's not up there with my favorite action films of all time [Speed, Bad Boys II, etc.].

Things could be worse; you could be twins.
